Ozone Layer Awareness & Protection Program

This 1-day environmental awareness course is ideal for individuals who want to obtain or renew their Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card. Proper training is crucial as only certified technicians are legally permitted to handle, remove, or dispose of refrigerants containing ozone-depleting substances and hydrocarbons.

What You Will Learn:
 
  • The science behind ozone depletion and its environmental impact
  • Proper handling, storage, and disposal of CFC/HCFC/HFC refrigerants and hydrocarbons
  • Safety protocols for working with refrigerants
  • Regulatory compliance and industry standards

Outcome:

Working at Heights

Price: $169

This course is designed for individuals working at workplaces covered by the Construction Projects Regulation. Workers who use fall protection systems must complete this training to ensure safety and compliance with Ministry of Labour requirements.
 
Topics Covered:
  • Correct use of Travel Restraint Systems, Fall Restricting Systems, Fall Arrest Systems, Safety Nets, Work Belts, and Safety Belts
  • Hazard recognition and risk assessment for elevated work
  • Proper inspection, maintenance, and use of fall protection equipment
  • Emergency procedures and rescue planning
     
Outcome:
Students gain confidence and the knowledge to safely perform tasks at heights while meeting all regulatory standards.

Confined Space Entry Safety
