Gas Technician 3 Pre-Exam
This comprehensive review program is specifically designed for individuals who wish to refresh and strengthen their knowledge before writing the Gas Technician 3 (G3) certification exam. The course provides a thorough review of Modules 1–9, with emphasis on the essential concepts, technical skills, and safety practices required in the trade. In addition, participants will revisit the Ontario codes, acts, and regulations that govern the industry, ensuring they are up to date and confident in applying these standards in practical situations.
This program is best suited for students who have already completed formal training or have prior knowledge and hands-on exposure to the field. It serves as a valuable refresher to reinforce understanding, clarify complex areas, and build exam-writing confidence.
For individuals who do not have previous training or industry experience, it is strongly recommended to enroll in the full Gas Technician 3 course, as the review course is not intended to replace comprehensive instruction.
By the end of this review, participants will be well-prepared to challenge the G3 certification exam and move forward in their career as a licensed Gas Technician in Ontario.
Gas Technician 2 Pre-Exam
This specialized review program is designed for individuals preparing to write the Gas Technician 2 (G2) certification exam and who wish to refresh their knowledge of the required materials. The course covers Modules 10–24, focusing on advanced concepts, technical applications, and safety procedures critical to the trade. Participants will also revisit the relevant Ontario codes, acts, and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards and practices.
The program is best suited for students who have already completed the necessary training or have prior field experience and want to strengthen their understanding, reinforce key areas, and build confidence before the exam. It provides a structured review of important subject matter while clarifying more complex topics that often appear on the certification test.
For those without previous training or practical experience, it is highly recommended to take the full Gas Technician 2 course rather than the review, as this program is not intended to replace complete instruction.
Upon completion, participants will be better equipped with the knowledge and confidence required to successfully challenge the G2 exam and progress in their career as a licensed Gas Technician.
Gas Technician 1 Pre-Exam
This focused review program is designed for individuals preparing to write the Gas Technician 1 (G1) certification exam who would like to refresh and strengthen their knowledge prior to testing. The course provides a thorough review of Modules 26–31, covering advanced technical concepts, installation practices, troubleshooting procedures, and safety requirements at the highest level of gas technician certification. Participants will also revisit the applicable Ontario codes, acts, and regulations, ensuring they are fully aligned with current industry standards and legal requirements.
This program is most beneficial for students who have already completed their formal Gas Technician 1 training or have substantial experience in the field. It is structured to help clarify complex subject areas, reinforce essential knowledge, and build the confidence needed to succeed in the licensing exam.
For those without prior training or hands-on industry experience, it is strongly recommended to take the full Gas Technician 1 course, as this review program is not intended to serve as a substitute for complete instruction.
By the end of the review, participants will be well-prepared to challenge the G1 exam and take the next step in advancing their career as a fully licensed Gas Technician in Ontario.
