Course Overview:

This 1-day theory-based environmental awareness training is designed for individuals seeking to obtain or renew their Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card. The program is federally recognized and approved, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling.

Whether you're new to the field or your previous ODP card has expired, this course will prepare you to work legally and responsibly with ozone-depleting and hydrocarbon-based refrigerants.

Note: This course does not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.

Why You Need This Certification:

By law, only certified technicians may purchase, handle, remove, or dispose of refrigerants containing CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, or hydrocarbons. The ODP card serves as your official proof of certification.
