What courses are available?
QUICKFAST SERVICE ACADEMY offers comprehensive training in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC disciplines to equip technicians with essential skills and knowledge. Our courses are designed to cater to both beginners and experienced technicians seeking to enhance their expertise and obtain necessary licenses.
How is the training delivered?
Training at QUICKFAST SERVICE ACADEMY is provided through both one-on-one and group sessions. This flexibility ensures that each student receives personalized attention and guidance, making the learning experience more effective and tailored to individual needs.
What can I do with my gas technician license?
Your license level determines the type of work you can perform, whether residential, commercial, or industrial. With the proper certification, gas technicians are qualified to install, maintain, and repair natural gas and propane appliances, including furnaces, water heaters, fireplaces, stoves, BBQs, dryers, pool heaters, and refrigerators.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans to make our programs more affordable and accessible.
Is there a wait time between G3, G2, and G1 courses?
Students in the full-time G3 & G2 Co-op or HVAC Co-op programs can move directly from G3 to G2 with no wait time. For evening programs, there may be a 2–6 month gap between G3 and G2 since G2 Evening is only offered once or twice a year. To advance to G1, you must hold a G2 license for at least two years and provide proof of work hours before being eligible for the final exam.
How will I know my application was received and what should I do next?
We will reach out by phone and email within a few days to confirm your application. At that time, we’ll provide instructions on completing your enrollment, including submitting any required documents and paying your course tuition.
Are you eligible for OSAP?
No. The courses are too short to be eligible for OSAP. However, we are qualified for all other government approved funding.
Can my company train staff through your programs?
Yes! We offer training programs designed for employers who want to upskill their staff. Whether it’s building managers, maintenance teams, or other personnel, we can provide courses that meet your team’s needs and help them gain the required certifications.
