HVAC Co-op
Our HVAC Co-op Program is a comprehensive, all-inclusive training opportunity designed to provide students with the certifications and practical experience needed to launch a successful career in the HVAC industry. This program includes Gas Technician 3 (G3), Gas Technician 2 (G2), Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP), and Working at Heights certifications—everything you need to start working confidently in the field. No previous experience is required.
The program runs for 19 weeks and follows a unique format that alternates one week of classroom instruction with one week of hands-on field training at a local co-op placement company. This structure ensures students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical, real-world experience.
Throughout the program, students will learn essential HVAC skills, safety procedures, and industry theories while developing valuable connections with employers. Graduates leave with not only strong technical skills but also on-the-job experience that employers are looking for.
As an added benefit, we provide job search assistance to help graduates transition directly into the workforce.

Course Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Program Overview

Program Structure

Examinations
All theory and practical exams are administered in-house at our Mississauga location by certified instructors.

Pre-Requisites
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent OR
Be at least 18 years of age and pass a Superintendent-approved qualifying test
