Course Overview:This course is designed for beginners who want a strong foundation in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Safety, refrigerant handling, and basic electrical knowledge are emphasized, preparing students for practical HVAC work and advanced courses.
Hands-on Activities:
Identify HVAC system components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, air handlers, thermostats)
Basic electrical wiring exercises for HVAC systems
Measuring system pressures and temperatures
Simple troubleshooting scenarios using gauges and meters
Safety drills, including PPE usage and refrigerant handling
